Today was not much of an improvement over the last few, though I have to say I have found working from home a lot easier this week than I did before. I think it’s because I am for the most part OK enough I could make it in tomorrow, though I think I will leave going back till Friday as I have a routine shift that day in either case, going in early to assist with exams. I also managed to do some cleaning on my break today, which may not be as good as an early target for my routine, but is making sitting at the Million Desk typing a lot more pleasant. I’m typing this on Valkrie – my desktop – but I decided to use the Vortex Core 40 because it’s just the nicest thing ever to type on.
Also today is now eleven days of substantial edits written before I start on Target. I don’t know if that’s a new habit norm, but it means NHO didn’t overtake TUS today like it otherwise would have done. In truth, it should have done it yesterday, but these edits are really adding up fast. It’s nice, feels a bit like I’m recovering, slowly. This year has been so intense, with Project4 draining me at least as much as the third and onwards lockdowns did, and at times spiking to be as bad as lockdown 1.0. But I feel at peace with it now. What will be will be.
