Not a whole lot to report today. I sadly cannot take any time off this month after all but it’s for a super valid reason, so I don’t mind. I know it sounds weird, but I am pretty ok with putting off holiday to get more done at work anyway, as I have hit my stride of late. Just need to be careful not to burn out, which is always a concern when I push myself a teensy bit too hard. Today I ran a training session for 30~ people on Microsoft Teams, and honestly, yes work’s been stressful of late but that makes it all worth it. I wish I could be doing more of that.
TWR is going ok, but I am conscious of not knowing where I want to take the story next. I have some ideas, but none fully formed, and while it’s exciting not to know how the tale will play out or if it’ll bare any resemblance to my abridged version, I do feel it’s one of the reasons that yet again, I hit target with 1,000 words and barely a smidge more. I think it ended up shy of 1,050 by a couple, but I am too tired to do much more than that. Here’s hoping one more decent night’ll be enough to push target back into the morning, or into the +200 range again.
